Marseilles Youth Sports
Our next monthly meeting is February 3rd at 7:30pm All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
*Sign-ups are scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 24th and Saturday, February 7th at City Hall beginning at 8am (exact ending times to be announced). Sign-ups are first come first serve, and we make no guarantee of placement on a team for late sign-up.
*Try-outs are scheduled to be held on March 14th at the Marseilles Grade School. Those moving up from Instructional League as well as those moving up from Minor Boys Little League and Intermediate Girls League need to attend. Times to be announced.
*Tag day is scheduled for Saturday April 18th. Time to be announced.
*Opening Day Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday April 25th at 10am. This includes all players from Tee Ball to Little League and Softball.

Registration for the 2009 season is upon us
Registration for the 2009 season will be held on Saturday, January 24th beginning at 8am lasting until noon at City Hall and again on Saturday February, 7th (times same as above) for players 5 to 14. Please refer to the age chart (click the button) for eligibility, find the month and year you were born and follow it over to find your league age. This program is open to both boys and girls from the area, birth certificates are required at time of registration. We have eliminated our boarders so that anyone wishing to be a part of our program is eligible. There is an additional charge for those living outside city limits of $10 per player, families with multiple players do receive a discount for the second player.
This year we are offering a discount to all those that sign up in January of $5 per child and as always you only pay for a maximum of two players. More than two players are free regardless of the number.
We provide uniforms, hats or visors, batting helmets,catching equipment and excellent facilities. Our coaches, assistants, board members and umpires all pass a back ground check before being allowed to be a part of our program. We have a concession stand to satisfy your snacking needs during the games at both the main fields as well as at our PeeWee field. We have two major fund raisers per year, Tag Day and Vegas Night (donated by the Marseilles Lion Club) that we ask all to attend.

Pony League Players Wanted:
We received a lot of interest in our Pony League program near the end of the 2008 season and hope to revive it this year. All boys who's birthdate is between May 1st 1995 and December 31st 1994 are eligible. We will have sign-up at both dates listed above but encourage those interested to sign up early so we have time to notify the league and purchase uniforms.
