Its not to late for those nominations. I will continue to add them through the league tournaments, and beyond if we get enough interest.
People don't win because they're physically stronger. It's because they're stronger between the ears.

League tournaments are coming to an end this week, we would like to congratulate all the teams on a successful season and hard fought tournaments. In first place for the regular season at the minor boys level was the Marseilles A's, second was Grand Ridge Black, third was Grand Ridge Blue. For the tournament Grand Ridge Black were the champions, the A's second, and Grand Ridge Blue third. At the Major boys Level for the regular season the Rangers came in first, Cardinals second and Grand Ridge Blue third. In some of the best tournament play I have seen in years it was a hard fought battle for the top four positions. Several of the games going 9 innings. The Rockies and Grand Ridge Green going toe to toe in two separate games resulting in the Rockies advancing to the semi-finals, playing their 5th game in as many days, only to be knocked out by the Rangers, ending in a respectable third place. The stage is now set for a battle for the championship between the Cardinals and the Rangers to be played tonight, Sunday June 22nd at 6pm. A second game at 8pm if needed to decide the the champions. On the girls side, for the Intermediate girls there was a tie between the Royals and Golden Rule Lumber for first place in the regular season. After a head to head comparison of the records, the Royals had a one "runs-allowed" advantage giving them the first seed in the tournament. Second and third place in the regular season were the Braves and Diamond backs respectively. The tournament for the Intermediate girls begins Monday June 23rd at 6pm. For the Little league girls The Cheese Shop took first place in the regular season, Manley Brothers second and the Blue jays Third. In the tournament Manley Brothers defeated the Blue Jays in the first round but was then defeated by the Cheese Shop in the second. In the third round the Blue jays knocked Manley Brothers out of the tournament with a narrow victory setting up the championship game to be played Monday, June 23rd at 8pm. If the Blue Jays defeat the Cheese Shop a final game will then be scheduled. Good Luck to all the teams.
All-star selections have been made. It was discussed and voted that we would have two alternates per team just we have had in the past. Congratulations to all the players that made the teams this year. For the complete list check the button below.
