Election of Officers to be held September 9th

Election of Officers for the 2009 season will be held September 9th at 7:30 at City Hall in Marseilles. All coaches from the 2008 must attend or send a representative for their team to cast a vote in their stead. Any interested party wishing to seek office should also attend and make their intentions known prior to nominations. Votes will be cast by the head coach, or representative, of each team as well as the sitting board members unless that person holds multiple positions. In which case a representative must be assigned to vote in their stead. The office of Present will be the only seat that will be voted on seperately as a position, all other positions will be decided by the new Board members once they are voted in. Officer seats are President, Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Nominations will be made from the floor and votes will be by secret ballot. After the ballots are counted incoming officers will be announced. The meeting will then be adjourned and a new meeting will begin with the new members assuming their respective duties.
